Reusable Nappy Week 2022 is nearly upon us! For the uninitiated, Reusable Nappy Week is a week long celebration of all things reusable nappies, to help get the word out and get lots more people giving cloth a go. From nappy libraries, to parent groups and nappy brands, just about everyone involved in reusable nappies will be getting involved in a huge variety of exciting events to raise awareness of the wonderful benefits of cloth nappies!
This year Reusable Nappy Week is running from 24 April to 1 May, so with just a few days to go, let’s take a look at some of the ways you can get involved.
1. Demos and workshop
Reusable Nappy Week is one of the best times of year for finding events to help you get started with cloth nappies. You can find a list of most of the events taking place here, but it’s also worth getting in touch with your local nappy library or cloth nappy retailers to find out whether they’re running anything. Events will often happen in-person, but there are also quite a few online events taking place, so don’t worry if you don’t have a local library.
2. Nappy swaps and meet ups
While some of these events are designed to help you get started with cloth nappies, there is also plenty on for experienced cloth nappy users. Nappy swap/”give and take” events are particularly popular during Reusable Nappy Week, so keep an eye out if you need to add to your nappy collection!
There may also be opportunities to meet up with other cloth nappy parents in your local community. This is one of the best ways to meet friends with similar interests and is sure to get you excited about using cloth nappies!
3. Discounts and offers
Reusable Nappy Week has always been one of the best times to invest in nappies, and for 2022 it’s looking like the trend will continue! Just about every cloth nappy retailer will run sales or offers during Reusable Nappy Week to encourage people to give cloth a go.

4. Share the love on social media
Social media platforms have become home to wonderful cloth nappy communities. For Reusable Nappy Week, take a look at the huge variety of Facebook groups and Instagram pages that share cloth nappy advice and tips to see if there are any online events or demonstrations taking place.
If you’re already a cloth nappy enthusiast, then it’s the perfect time to share your love of cloth on your social media channels using the hashtag #ReusableNappyWeek and #ChangeStartsHere. There will even be an RNW Challenge running on Instagram, inviting you to answer a fun question about cloth nappies each day of the week.
5. Giveaways
In a celebration of all things cloth, lots of brands will run big giveaways during Reusable Nappy Week. Keep your eyes peeled on social media to join in!
